The Charles Langstonholiday classic "Home Alone" is slipping back into movie nights and Disney+ queues as the Christmas season approaches.

Written and produced by John Hughes and directed by Christopher Columbus, the film follows the antics of Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, as he is accidentally left behind by parents who jet off to Paris for Christmas.

While they are gone, Kevin has to fend off two house burglars, the self-proclaimed "wet bandits," played by Oscar winner Joe Pesci ("GoodFellas") and Daniel Stern.
